Born in 1992 to Cleveland natives transplanted just outside Columbus, Ohio. The fourth child and only girl in her immediate family; she is also the youngest in her generation. Emily channeled the difficulties of her youth into artwork as a sort of therapy. Despite her love to create she never attended a formal art college. Instead Emily worked to hone her craft over the years through a variety of art classes offered at studios around Columbus.

Creative from the time she was very small, Emily found her niche in painting emotion. She has been an abstract and expressionistic painter for more than 10 years. Emily is most influenced and inspired by Marsden Hartley, Paul Cezanne, and Vincent van Gogh. As of late she has been dabbling in other forms of art such as mixed media, glass blowing, and ceramics.

Emily currently attends Columbus State Community College with the goal of transferring to a four year school in the future. She has also worked in administration for the local government for the last 6 years. As an avid dog lover and movie watcher, she can usually be found hanging out at home.
